Part Time CDL Class B Driver – Equipment Delivery

Part Time equipment delivery drivers wanted Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Let us know what specific day or days you are looking to drive and we might be able to make it work.

Ready Equipment is the go-to source for top notch professional equipment in Central NH & the Lakes Region. We rent construction equipment, aerial lifts and contractor equipment and tools and we sell and service lawn & garden equipment, commercial turf equipment, and contractor job-site equipment.

A lot of that construction equipment gets delivered directly to the customer – that’s where you come in!

*Responsibilities…*
* _Safely and efficiently operate Class B commercial delivery vehicles_
* _Safely and efficiently load and unload construction equipment and power equipment_
* _Provide excellent customer service and communicate with customers about delivery and pickup information_
* _Instruct customers on general safety and operation of equipment at delivery_
* _Complete all DOT paperwork as required_
* _Complete digital logs of equipment info and condition at delivery and pickup via tablet_
* _Assist in rental equipment cleaning, greasing and preparation as needed, assist in yard as needed_

*Requirements & Skills…*
* _Professional appearance and service oriented disposition to interact with customers_
* _Ability to complete DOT paperwork and pass a DOT drug and alcohol screen_
* _Possesses professional and effective communications skills_
* _Possesses excellent time management, planning, decision making, and problem solving skills_
* _Have a solid work ethic and ability to work under pressure_
* _Knowledge of construction equipment preferred_
* _Familiarity with local area and roads_
* _Responsible, well organized, self-starter and able to work independently_
* _Flexibility to start early in the morning at 5am or 6am most days_
* _Flexibility to work the hours necessary to meet the needs of Ready Equipment’s customers which may include some overtime hours_

*Education, Certification and Experience…* _*Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent*_
* _Minimum 2 years recent driving experience_
* _Hold valid CDL-B license and an up-to-date medical card_
* _Be able to provide a Motor Vehicle Record reflecting a clean driving record_
