Trash Truck Driver

Job Description

*Qualifications *
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Class A or B CDL
* Knowledge of the truck and basic maintenance needs for safe operation

* Ability to read, write and understand basic maps

* Ability operate vehicle in tight spaces
* Ability to communicate with customers
* Ability to recognize unacceptable waste

*Responsibilities *
* The Residential Route Driver will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services to customers
* Collect solid waste on curbside and transporting it to the landfill
* Drive a rear-load trash truck to collect waste and take to the landfill
* Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.75 – $19.50 per hour

Experience:
* Commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
* Driver’s License (Required)
* Air Brake Endorsement (Required)
* CDL B (Required)
