Job Description

*Position Summary*

Responsible for transporting and delivering a variety of products. Responsible for the safety and inspection of the vehicle before, during and after operation. May be responsible for loading and unloading shipments. Handles special projects, as assigned.

*Essential Functions*
* Perform daily truck inspections and abide by all DOT regulations and reporting requirements, including electronic logging.
* Transport materials and equipment from site to site as requested.
* Take direction from site superintendents on activities performed at work sites.
* Maintain capital equipment, including cleanliness and basic maintenance.
* Assist mechanic in major maintenance and repair of vehicle.
* Load and unload equipment and mats from truck as requested.
* Ensure loads are properly and safely secured to DOT regulations.
* Adhere to all safety rules and regulations in concurrence with NMIS’ policies and procedures.
* Additional duties as needed or directed by supervisor and/or manager.

*Education & Experience Requirements*
* High School Diploma or educational equivalent.
* 2+ years of experience driving trucks preferred.
* Experience driving LOWBOY HIGHLY PREFERRED.
* Valid driving license required.
* Valid CDL A license required.
* Basic knowledge of regulations for the transportation of products and materials being transported.

*Additional Details:*
* $25hr+ depending on experience

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
