B&W / CWS is a logistics provider that deals primarily with automotive freight. Our dedicated staff works year-round to provide the best logistics information and freight management as possible. As a logistics provider, we are committed to getting freight to our customers on time and in a safe, effective manner. We are experienced in yard management, switching, warehousing, shuttling, intermodal / dry van services, and more. “Safety First” is our motto. Our dispatchers directly communicate with drivers to update our tracking systems. Dispatchers also have to verify locations of trailers as requested. The set starting pay is $17 an hour. The position reports to our office in Gary, IN.

*Schedule : Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday [10PM to 8 AM]*


* Update dispatch systems (data entry)
* Provide exceptional customer service to customers and 3PLS
* Respond to emails
* Communicate with drivers over the phone
* Must have basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Outlook.
* Experience with Microsoft Excel is helpful
* Experience in customer service (office environment) or a call center preferred.
* Logistics / trucking experience is helpful but not required.

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 48 per week

Education:
* High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:
* Office: 2 years (Preferred)
* Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
* Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
