Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled forklift operator to become a full-time member of our team. The chosen candidate will play a vital role in the efficient loading and unloading of materials, transporting them to and from storage areas while emphasizing safety.

The main responsibilities include operating a forklift to move materials smoothly between storage areas, loading and unloading materials from various vehicles such as trucks, and transporting materials to designated production areas as needed. The operator will also maintain safety and efficiency standards in material handling, perform daily forklift inspections, report any maintenance needs promptly, adhere to established safety procedures and guidelines, and collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.

To qualify for this position, candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, familiarity with forklift safety protocols, and the physical ability to lift heavy materials in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and communication skills, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, are essential.
