Job Description
*POSITION OVERVIEW:*
Responsible for picking up and delivering freight between Service Centers and customers while supporting the selling process.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*
– Operate tractor-trailer combinations and perform safety inspections.
– Handle freight using motorized and manual equipment.
– Secure freight and manage documentation.
– Communicate with customers and dispatch, ensuring compliance with regulations.
– Provide excellent customer service and identify business opportunities.
*QUALIFICATIONS:*
– Valid Class A CDL with necessary endorsements.
– One year of driving experience or completion of FedEx training.
– Strong communication and math skills.
– Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work independently or as part of a team.
*WORKING CONDITIONS:*
– Drive in various weather and road conditions, with exposure to noise and hazardous materials.
*Pay:* From $34.11 per hour, with benefits including health insurance and retirement plans.
