*POSITION OVERVIEW:*
Join us in enhancing your skills in tractor trailer operations! Your role will include non-driving tasks such as forklift operation and dock work.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*
– Handle freight with motorized/manual equipment (forklift, pallet jack).
– Conduct pre-trip inspections.
– Connect/disconnect trailers and verify freight documentation.
– Secure and repair freight as needed.
– Assist customers and comply with regulations.
*QUALIFICATIONS:*
– Class A CDL or CLP required.
– Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
– DOT compliance and basic math skills.
– Ability to lift heavy weights and work independently or in a team.
*WORKING CONDITIONS:*
– Exposure to noise, dust, and hazardous materials.
– Variable hours based on operational needs.
