Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and reliable forklift operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to efficiently transport, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a keen attention to detail.

The main duties include operating a forklift for transporting, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise, as well as loading and unloading materials from trucks and pallets. Regular pre and post inspections of the forklift are essential to ensure proper operation, and adherence to safety procedures is crucial for maintaining a safe work environment. Additionally, the operator will help maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse and assist the supervisor with other assigned tasks.

Requirements for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent, with no prior experience necessary. Candidates should be proficient in safe and efficient forklift operation, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while working independently.

This position offers a daily shift and is full-time. The salary ranges from $17 to $19 per hour and includes benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and overtime pay.
