Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are actively looking for a skilled forklift operator to join our team in a full-time role. The selected candidate will be tasked with efficiently loading and unloading materials, ensuring items are securely transported to and from storage areas, and contributing to the overall smooth handling of materials.

The primary responsibilities include operating forklift equipment to move materials between storage locations, loading and unloading materials from trucks and other vehicles, transporting materials to production areas as required, ensuring the secure and efficient handling of all materials, conducting daily inspections of the forklift while reporting any maintenance needs or issues, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines, and effectively collaborating with team members and supervisors.

Minimum qualifications for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent, a solid understanding of forklift safety procedures and guidelines, the physical ability to lift heavy materials in a dynamic work environment, strong problem-solving skills along with proficient communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.
