CDL Class A Driver

Job Description

Custom Wood Products – an industry leader in the manufacturing of high-end cabinetry based out of St. Marys, KS is looking for a CDL Delivery Driver.

If you have mad driving skills, hefty lifting abilities and a steller personality, we want you!

*Duties:*

· The CDL Driver will load, secure and protect product in delivery vehicle and safely transport merchandise without damage.

·The CDL Driver will verify product information and accessories to ensure it matches for deliveries and returns.

· The CDL driver will offload the merchandise for our customers safely.

·The CDL driver will operate delivery vehicle and follow delivery schedule set by management.

· The CDL driver accurately document all vehicle movement on daily route sheets.

· The CDL driver conducts daily inspection of assigned delivery vehicle to ensure safety and maintenance guidelines are met.

· On low delivery days, position will work in manufacturing environment focused in cabinet assembly, sanding, staining, operating machinery, etc.

·Company issued credit card for hotel and food for out of state deliveries.

*Requirements:*

·At least 21 years of age with a good driving record

· Valid state Class A Driver’s License

· Ability to work schedule of hours varying from 5 am to 7 pm; most days work complete before 5pm!

· Must have furniture moving abilities. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with assistance.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
